Should you have to grind in single-player games?
Why do we grind in single player games?
Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After our prelude, we head into comics where Aquaman is going in a bold and exciting new direction. Marvel is getting ready to celebrate the Fantastic Four in a huge way, and Walking Dead is finally going to China.
Kicking off video game news this week, we return to the Fallout of Fallout and what else has gone wrong for Bethesda. Loot boxes are making the news again, and videos games are bigger and better than ever.
Over in the world of entertainment, Netflix is bringing Cowboy Bebop to the small screen, but does anyone want that? Sam Raimi is taking on a new horror title and Guillermo del Toro is crafting an American remake of a foreign horror hit.
Our epilogue this week is about “grinding” as a mechanic in single player games.
As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to the show every week and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss! (firstname.lastname@example.org!)
