What is that audience we hear on this weeks…THE SURLY NERD?!
Star Citizen, built with CryEngine 3
Greetings adventurers, it’s an all new episode of The Surly Nerd! This week on the show we have a studio audience full of people to listen to us work and taunt us as we deliver the nerdy news you need for your ear holes. With NYCC around the corner we put comics on hold until next week but make up for it with everything else.
In Game Industry News, we chat about how much power Disney has over the Star Wars name, how Microsoft is doing in Japan, what is next for the future of virtual reality and we tell you what Star Citizen is and why you should be paying attention to it. Over in entertainment news we kick it off with a little Locke and Key talk, move right along to what is going on with Zombieland 2 and talk about Dracula Untold and the idea of the “shared universe” for Universal’s movie monsters. We close up shop this week talking about the I Am Legend Reboot, and in the Epilogue it’s all about how we feel about the state of the current gaming generation, one year after the new consoles release.
Grab a drink and settle on in for this weeks action packed episode of…The Surly Nerd!
