Should sites like Steam and Rotten Tomatoes be moderated?
Review bombs are hurting everyone
Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After our prelude, we head right into the weekly raid (our news roundup).
New this week, James Gunn has come back to the Disney in a HUGE way and is working on another fantastic comic property. 343 Studios is celebrating a big win for HALO and they talk about how they plan on releasing content going forward. Donny Cates is taking over the Silver Surfer and Steam is working on their new game streaming service. The weekly raid winds down with a talk about a new (not) Left 4 Dead game by Turtle Rock Studios.
This weeks BOSS ROOM is all about taking a look at sites like Steam and Rotten Tomatoes and discussing if they should have the level of moderation that they do.
As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to the show every week and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss! (firstname.lastname@example.org!)
