Should comics talk about the faith of superheroes?
Does Batman’s faith matter?
Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After our prelude, we head into comics where Uncanny X-men is coming back in a huge (giant sized) way. Also this week, it was announced that Captain Marvel is getting a new one-shot before the release of her movie. Level one wraps up with the silliest Iceman announcement ever.
Heading into level two, Miyamoto from Nintendo has a lot to say about the current state of the video game business. Steam.tv accidentally got shown off by Valve and people are excited for it. Cyberpunk 2077 takes over the rest of level two with a huge discussion about what we can expect from CD Projekt Red’s newest offering.
Over in the world of entertainment, Hollywood seems to be having some huge issues when it comes to deciding what the rating of the Venom movie should be. James’ gets a little angry over the announcement of a Jacob’s Ladder re-imagining and everyone gets super hyped for the newest news about Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark.
Our epilogue this week is about the religious faith of super heroes.
As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to the show every week and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss! (firstname.lastname@example.org!)
