How do we separate art from the people who create it?
One of the new propaganda posters for the Nightwing series
Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After our prelude, we kick things off in comics where Image is going all out to celebrate pride month! We also have DC creating a new, fantastic sounding Elseworlds title, and we talk about the death of Black Panther and The Crew.
Heading into level two, Square Enix says goodbye to the Hitman franchise. We also break down what’s happening to the Mass Effect franchise as well as what Valve would like to do to make the Steam store accessible for everyone.
Over in the world of entertainment, we finally find out what the Purge TV series is all about and Ridley Scott tells us what made him change the content in Alien: Covenant. Level three comes to an end with some amazing Judge Dredd news, and we give our theories as to what we would like to see in it.
Our epilogue is week is about a discussion about how we separate the beliefs of an artist from the quality of their content. As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to the show every week and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss! (firstname.lastname@example.org!)
Grab a drink and settle on in for this weeks action packed episode of…The Surly Nerd!
