How much control should a game dev have over toxicity in their games?
Should devs have full banhammer control?
Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After our prelude, we head into comics where Hellboy is finally being collected in a way that has us opening our wallets. We also have an awesome IDW comic journal announcement and we get into the Comic-Con lawsuit that could affect conventions all over the U.S.
Heading into level two, PUBG continues to smash records, and the NES Classic is coming back in a big way. Level two winds down as Microsoft brings us some amazing new ways for us to play that could very well be the future of gaming.
Over in the world of entertainment, there’s more horror anthologies around the corner and we finally have one we absolutely cannot wait for. We also talk about John Landis’ opinions on his son remaking American Werewolf in London and the biggest announcement for the week is who’s now taking over Star Wars: Episode IX
Our epilogue is week is about how game developers should handle toxicity in their games (if at all).
As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to the show every week and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss! (firstname.lastname@example.org!)
