Greetings adventurers, it’s time for a Surly Nerd holiday spectacular! We kick off the news proper after the prelude and the ending of the All New X-Factor comic. With the year nearing to a close we discuss the future of digital comic sales and wrap up comics with a talk about the new Flash Gordon holiday issue.
Over on the gaming side of things, Nintendo opens up about their plans for the future, we get into how China will influence gaming culture over the next few years, and Norman Reedus talks Silent Hills progress. In entertainment we get to hear about what Peter Jackson thinks about modern Hollywood cinema, we tell you who Luke Cage is for the new Netflix series, and Joss Whedon tells us what we have to look forward to in the world of Sci-fi in the very near future. We close out the show this week talking about the movie “The Interview” and if anyone should really give a fuck about it. As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to our show and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss!
