The comics have gone missing…on all new SURLY NERD!
Can Konami win back our hearts?
Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After gaming and comic filled prelude we jump directly into games!
In game industry news, we hear what Windows has planned to combat piracy, we talk a little about the developers of Fallout 4 and listen to the truth behind the Resident Evil 2 remake. Our main topic for gaming this week is revisiting the Nintendo state of the union, with all new changes coming our way from them and if we think they have what it takes to be on top again.
Over in the world of entertainment, Nintendo is considering entering the movie race again and we’re going to get a biopic of Carl Sagan which has Tony all excited. We also hear the latest on the S.H.I.E.L.D spin-off, find out who’s working on the Masters of the Universe movie and talk about what we would like to see in a Dante’s Inferno movie. We close up our entertainment news on a somber note as we talk about new security procedures being implemented soon in response to the most recent events.
Our epilogue this week is all about Konami and what they are trying to do to win back their fan base (and is it too late?). As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to the show every week and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss! (email@example.com!)
