The modern MMO is dead, all hail the post-modern MMO
Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After our prelude, we head right into the weekly raid (our news roundup).
Kicking things off this week, we have a ton of Masters of the Universe news from a new comic to a new show on Netflix. We keep down the Netflix train with an announcement of a new Elvis spy cartoon and move to Hulu to discuss their new “Adventure into Fear” series.
Also this week, we have the crew behind “Haunting of Hill House” working on a new “choose your own adventure” horror film. The Magicians is getting a new mini comic series and the head of Dragon Age has left Bioware. Wrapping up the news this week is a new deal that has Sony buying up Spider-man developer Insomniac games.
Our Boss Room this week is all about the possible death of the modern MMO.
As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to the show every week and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss! (email@example.com!)
