Kicking off video game news this week, TOFU is coming back to Resident Evil in a huge (HD) way. Japan is making it illegal to mod video game consoles, and Bungie is finally calling it quits with Activision.
Over in the world of entertainment, Masters of the Universe is once again in development. DUNE is coming back to the big screen and we get what might be the final update on the Disney/Fox deal and what that means for some of the Fox projects.

Over in the world of entertainment, 100 Years of Horror is finally getting a DVD release. Netflix is about to give us a documentary on “extreme” haunted houses, and Insidious is testing some new immersion technology to try and get more people into the movies.

We’ve changed the show format so on top of hearing what’s new in the world of Archie in comics, you will hear about what’s going on with Archie in show form as well! We also talk about what’s going on with season 2 of Supergirl, Locke and Key getting another shot at TV and what Wolverine being rated R really means to comic movies at large.
In game industry news, we mourn the loss of Disney Infinity, talk about Capcom’s full scale offensive for Resident Evil and what improvements are being made to the ESL. We close up shop on level 2 with talk about how much the Dark Souls board game has made and what we think about there being a “no-console” future for gaming in general.
Over in the world of entertainment, we jump into the new Mummy movie and talk about how it could succeed or fail. We also discuss the upcoming ROBOCOP documentary, the I KILL GIANTS movie and the rumors of a new Dungeons and Dragons movie. Level 3 comes to and end with a discussion about foreign horror and if it needs to really be remade by Hollywood or not.
