What does it mean to be an entertainment Visionary? Do we judge visionaries unfairly? Come with us as we discuss this, and the week in geek news, on an all new episode of…The Surly Nerd!
Was FABLE truly great?
Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After our prelude, we kick things off in comics with Penny Dreadful coming back, but in a new form. We also debate the loss of the Flash’s movie director and (finally) get confirmation as to why the X-men have been pushed to the side over at Marvel.
Over in games, we fanboy out over a ton of new Diablo 3 news. We also get into the state of digital distribution and how that is hurting Gamestop’s bottom line. Level 2 comes to a close with more talk about the Nintendo Switch and how Nintendo will balance it with the 3DS.
Over in the world of entertainment, we have STARSHIP TROOPERS ready to come back! Voltron rumors are abound and we could not be more excited. We close down Level 3 with a big ‘ol talk about the future of the SANDMAN films and what we want out of them.
Our epilogue this week is ALL about the concept of visionaries! As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to the show every week and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss! (firstname.lastname@example.org!)
