Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After our prelude, we head into comics where New Mutants is getting a new series, just in time for their upcoming film. We also discuss why we are upset at CYBORG being cancelled and James gives you a new holiday themed title to pick up this week.
Heading into level two, EA takes center stage again to tell the gaming community what they do and do not want in their video game experience. Level two comes to a close with Square Enix taking center stage with more Final Fantasy XV releases coming up and they finally break their silence about why they parted way with Hitman developer IO interactive.
Over in the world of entertainment, everyone gets hyped for the latest Chilling Adventures of Sabrina announcements. Also in entertainment we find out who’s going to be working on the Masters of the Universe movie and when it is set to release. Level three closes out with Guillermo del Toro giving us his thoughts on why monster movie reboots don’t work.
Our epilogue is week is about the controversy surrounding David Cage’s newest title, Detroit: Become Human.
