We’re ready Toxie!
Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After our prelude, we head into comics where we explore what’s going behind the scenes of Civil War II. We also have a HUGE announcement by comic book wizard, Alan Moore and news on Geoff Johns taking over as DC movie lead that might excite some people.
In game industry news, we break down the CD Projekt Red game “Cyberpunk 2077” and go into the legal battle over “No Mario’s Sky”. We also get into Nintendo’s announcements during the Apple press conference and what it means for the future of the game developer.
Over in the world of entertainment, we get excited by the news of a Toxic Avenger remake and get way too sidetracked talking about the blu-ray release of the Evil Dead remake. We wrap up level 3 with a discussion about the impact of Star Trek and why now is the right time for it to come back.
In our epilogue this week we discuss the Sony press conference and what exactly went wrong in it. As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to the show every week and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss! (info@thesurlynerd.com!)
