Episode 321 : Video Game Violence and You
Sadly, it’s time to talk about violence in video games
Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After our prelude, we head right into the weekly raid (our news roundup).
Kicking things off this week, the book “The Console Wars” is being turned into both a documentary AND a television show and we could not be more excited. We have a huge news roundup for CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover and Cloak and Dagger is finally getting the crossover it deserves.
Also this week, Stephen King is working on a new ending for “The Stand” for the new series, and E3 had a huge privacy leak that has affected thousands. Closing out our news this week is an update on what the FTC is going to do about loot boxes in America and Crash Team Racing makes headlines again as they add microtransactions retroactively to their game.
Our Boss Room this week is a discussion on video game violence and how it’s affecting people around the world.
As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to the show every week and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss! (firstname.lastname@example.org!)
Grab a drink and settle on in for this weeks action packed episode of…The Surly Nerd!
