Episode 307 : The Importance of Community Managers
What is a community manager, and why are they so important?
Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After our prelude, we head right into the weekly raid (our news roundup).
Kicking things off this week, Bloodborne has entered the world of tabletop gaming in a HUGE way. We also have an update from Respawn on the status of Titanfall 3, and Detective comics took over the world of comics in a huge way last month.
Also this week, the new Persona game was announced for the Switch, but it’s unlike anything anyone really expected. We get into the world of fandom with threats made against several comics writers and Image does the unthinkable at this years Eisner awards. We close out our weekly raid this week with a talk about what gaming can do to help Alzheimer’s patients and Epic Games tells Steam what they need to do to stop getting exclusives taken from them.
This weeks BOSS ROOM is a love letter to the underappreciated job of the gaming world – The Community Manager.
As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to the show every week and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss! (email@example.com!)
Grab a drink and settle on in for this weeks action packed episode of…The Surly Nerd!
