Episode 213 : Censorship Is Funny

Can censorship be used for comedy gold? We explore this and the week in news, on an all new episode!

How did this get past the censors?!
Greetings adventurers, and welcome to this weeks installment of The Surly Nerd! After our prelude, we kick things off in comic news where we find out what bad ass free book is coming to people who attend SDCC. We also have some great Humble Bundle news, and wrap everything in level one up with a talk about why Wizard World is failing globally.
Over in the world of entertainment, we celebrate Adam West, and have fun talking about why the Babadook is suddenly so popular. We also have a cassette release around the corner for Stranger Things, what’s scaring children on the set of IT and finally get answers as to how much of the Justice League will be changed now that Joss Whedon is in charge of it.
Our epilogue is week is all about how censorship can be used to great effect in comedy. As always, we appreciate all our adventurers who listen to the show every week and we look forward to your feedback on what we discuss! (info@thesurlynerd.com!)
